RICKY HENDRIX
Guitarist (2013)
Founder of Liquid Faction, Ricky specializes in blues, rock and jazz. He draws inspiration from artists like Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Robin Trower, Jimmy Page, and Wes Montgomery academically and performatively. It has been said time and time again that Ricky really brings an entertaining level to Liquid Faction’s shows. It’s worth noting that he may be stuck in 1968, with his clothes and playing style. Truly a time machine for the modern era.
IAN CRAIG
Vocalist (2022)
Blues, Soul, and rock n roll. That’s what you get with Ian. This Detroit-born rockin blues man will blow you away! He’s one of two lead vocalists with Liquid Faction, but that’s not all. He’s an excellent harmonica player and proficient slide guitarist among other things. With the soul of Motown, and the attitude of Chicago blues, Ian brings a style that will hit you deep in the heart. Mean and growly or sweet and sultry, he has just what you need.
SAM CUELLAR
Bassist (2023)
Hailing from Palatine, IL, Sam has been laying down the low end for more than 20 years. His musical inspirations span across the world, drawing from a wide range of styles–from ‘80s New Wave to modern metal, rock, and funk, with influences from Japan to Canada and everywhere in between. At your next Liquid Faction show, don’t be surprised when you find yourself grooving to his funky and rock-esque basslines!
LUCAS ROEHRBORN
Guitarist (2023)
Luke has been shredding the guitar since he was 12 years old. He has been involved in numerous bands and projects in the Chicago rock and metal scene for the last 15 years. He has been mastering playing 7-string guitar so he can provide a slight HEAVY influence to our sound. He continues to be a dedicated member to Liquid Faction and will blow your mind with his spider fingers!
CLAIRE LAWRENZ
Vocalist (2023)
Claire has been singing since she can remember. She brings a softness and sparkle to the group with her radiant voice and energy. Her wide vocal range adds a pleasurable contrast to the songs you know and love, while her niche influences evoke a unique flair in her singing style. She brings the professionalism of a choir background with the heart and soul of a rock n roll queen.
JEFF JENNINGS
Drummer (2024)
From the Chicago Bears drumline to America’s Got Talent, Jeff’s drumming makes an impact that is unmistakeable. A Chicago suburbs native, he specializes in technical, creative, and energetic performances everywhere he goes. Jeff’s musical influences include: The Contortionist, Chon, and Tigran Hamasyan. He is excited to be the most recent addition to Liquid Faction and is looking forward to partying with you!
